The 2019 Chevrolet Blazer is a 5-seat crossover that's only available as a 4-door wagon. Front- and all-wheel-drive models are offered. Competitors include the Ford Edge, Jeep Grand Cherokee, Nissan Murano and Toyota 4Runner. The Blazer will make its Chicago Auto Show debut in 2019.
There will be two engines available: A 2.5-liter 4-cylinder that produces 193 horsepower and a 3.6-liter V6 that produces 305 horsepower. Both engines will be paired to 9-speed automatic transmissions. Maximum towing capacity is rated at 4,500 pounds.
Four different trims will be available: L, LT, RS and Premier. Available features include Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, 4G LTE in-car Wi-Fi, OnStar, remote start, leather seats, heated seats and steering wheel, and satellite radio. Safety features include a rear camera mirror, lane-departure warning, blind-spot monitoring, forward collision warning, pedestrian detection and 360-degree camera.
