2019 Nissan Altima
The 2019 Nissan Altima is a 5-seat car that's only available as a 4-door sedan with front-wheel drive. Competitors include the Ford Fusion, Honda Accord and Toyota Camry. The Altima is all-new and will make its Chicago Auto Show debut in 2019.
There are two available engines: A 2.5-liter 4-cylinder that makes 188 horsepower and a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder with variable compression that makes 248 horsepower. Both mate to a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT).
There are six available trim levels: S, SR, SV, SL, Platinum and Edition One. Available features include Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth, remote keyless entry, remote start, power moonroof, leather seats, heated front seats, heated steering wheel, navigation, USB, satellite radio and dual-zone climate control. Available safety features include forward emergency braking, predictive forward collision warning, blind-spot warning, adaptive cruise control and rear cross-traffic alert.
New features for 2019 include pedestrian detection, lane departure warning, high beam assist and 8-way power adjustable seats.
